Visit by Dr. Claudia Altamirano strengthens scientific ties in applied biotechnology

At V&C Biotec we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Claudia Altamirano Gómez, full professor at the School of Biochemical Engineering of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (Chile), recognized for her career in metabolic engineering and animal cell culture.

During her visit, Dr. Altamirano shared valuable perspectives on the development of biotechnological processes based on cell culture, with applications in the production of biopharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and stem cell-derived secretome. Her research lines, closely aligned with the work of V&C Biotec, made this talk a rich space for technical and scientific exchange.

She also had the opportunity to tour our facilities and speak with our technical team, highlighting the laboratory's commitment to cell-based innovation in healthcare.
